The Tech Experience Accelerator (TEA) is BlackTECH Academy’s flagship work-integrated learning program designed to bridge the gap between education and employment for tech professionals, immigrants, and aspiring tech professionals.
Unlike traditional bootcamps or self-paced programs, TEA immerses participants in real-world, collaborative tech environments. You’ll work in cross-functional teams, build solutions to real challenges, and receive expert mentorship while expanding your network and building a project portfolio that sets you apart in the job market.

It’s designed for aspiring tech professionals, recent bootcamp grads, immigrants, and mid-career changers who want to gain real job experience and become job-ready.
You don’t need years of experience, but some foundational knowledge in your chosen track (e.g., software development, product design, business analysis etc) is recommended. TEA is designed to help you bridge the gap between learning and doing.
TEA is fully remote, allowing you to participate from anywhere while still collaborating closely with your team.
Yes – but more importantly, you’ll have real experience and real projects to show hiring managers, which carries more weight than any certificate.
